Hey there, I’m Kamryn!

I am an Asian-American queer creative, born and raised in Michigan.

I’ve been living in Brooklyn since the summer of 2023, and I am absolutely loving it. But don’t you worry — I’ll always be ready to point to where I’m from!

In 2016, I moved to Detroit to continue my academic career after some time off. I’m very proud that I can hold dear a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Metalsmithing and Printmaking, but I promise not to talk both your ears off! Still, there is no way I am limited to just those two concentrations. Always eager to learn more, I’m a natural autodidact. I’ve taught myself enough about fibers that I can process raw wool and spin it into yarn for knitting.

Yes, I can crochet too!

I promise… I can do just about anything my sweet lil heart desires.

I believe one of the best parts of being human is being able to help others, whether it’s lending a hand, an open ear, or a shoulder.

In this silly life I’m learning to love and call as mine, I am also learning that nothing truly compares to spending quality time with loved ones. And yes, that would include you.

There is healing that happens when people work together.

And I can’t wait to share time and space with you, and see what we could come up with together.
